Building Climate Resilience & Adaptation in the Kainai First Nation 


The Rockies Institute is hounoured to be partnering with the Kainai Ecosystem Protection Agency (KEPA) on the Building Climate Resilience & Adaptation in the Kainai First Nation (Blood Tribe) project.

Phase I aims to build internal capacity by delivering climate change education, conducting vulnerability assessments, developing a climate change adaptation plan, and sharing knowledge in the Blackfoot Confederacy. The initial development of this project was in-part made possible by the Alberta Government’s Community Initiative Program.
